Hollow ceramic spheres

We offer a complete range of hollow ceramic spheres, both grey and off-white. 

Hollow ceramic spheres ( cenospheres) are characterized by very high thermal and mechanical stability.

Features and benefits of the cenospheres are:

  • reduced density / reduced weight of final products

Hollow ceramic spheres (Cenospheres)

Other hollow ceramic spheres we provide are cenospheres in grey and off-white. 

Cenospheres are high-quality ceramic hollow microspheres characterized by a high
degree of fineness and highest mechanical resistance. Due to the fine particle size, Cenospheres are predestined for use in coatings as insulating lightweight filler.

Glass bubbles (Omega Bubbles)

In the category Glass Bubbles we offer you Omega Bubbles, which are made from recycled glass.

Omega-Bubbles are high-quality multi-cellular hollow glass spheres, serving as functional lightweight fillers. Omega-Bubbles are characterized by excellent chemical, mechanical, and thermal properties. The multi cellular high-stability structure is generated in a unique process. The use of high-quality raw materials ensures the pure white colour of Omega-Bubbles.

Wollastonite

Wollastonite is a rod shaped calcium metasilicate named after the physicist Wollaston. It's a natural occurring white acicular mineral. It is inert, has low loss on ignition, no water solubility and a low efficient of linear thermal expansion.

Wollastonite is available in aspect-ratio of 3:2 to 20:1, from 8 μm to 1000 μm. It’s also available modified with various coatings as per customer needs and are sold as Fillex.

The product is fire resistant and extremely alkali-resistant.
